Hello, everyone :) I just start playing WFB 3- after I read the rulebook I realized that this is the game I want to play, not WFB 8, because current edition is more for small childs than serious wargamers, and it lacks atmosphere of oldschool Fantasy ;) I have quite big (6 500+ points and growing) army of oldschool Dwarfs, most of them unfortunately unpainted, and few other miniatures from late '80s/ early '90s. Here I'll show you my progress in painting my miniatures, as well as some commision work. Hope you like it :)

So, let's start the show

Dwarfs:
One of my first Oldschool miniatures- cannon! (painted in 2010 or 2011)

Wow, fantastic work. My head is too overloaded with the coolness of it all to say much of anything useful right now. :o

This is obviously many years of work. Love the way you have done the names on many of the bases.

Those are amazing. I love that you have named each of your Dwarves I may have to do that for my pre-slotta Dwarf army.

Good to see you over here Bayard! these loverly dwarfs and Empire figures fit in perfectly around here.

Also I'm glad to hear that you are starting to experiment with 3rd edition...Once you try it with the right group of people you won't go back.

Cheers,

Blue

amazing models, love what you did with the names, also shield designs and what not. you have put a lot of effort and love in these models. a joy to behold, well done :)

Thank you, I'm happy that you like it :) Now I have to paint over 80 High Elves (2 orders- one "modern", but one is Oldhammer) and about 40 Blood Angels (another order), but after that I hope I'll go back to my dwarfs ;)

Stunning work. I spent last weekend sorting through my mercenary pikemen, Alcatani amongst them, but many pikes looked like brezels. Did you simply straighten them or did you replace the shafts?

Thank you. Yes, the pikes are just straightened. They look great in such big unit as this. Unfortunately, it was commision work and I can't look at them when I want ;)
