So metal or, "finecast"?

Shows what they could do if they put even a little energy into it. Such a shame all those lovely molds are sitting there doing nothing.

Seconded. For the right minis a drive to Nottingham is worthwhile!

Metal. And whilst occasional corporate nostalgia is worthwhile for a company, rereleasing the old stuff en masse would be a surefire way to huge losses.

All the old production moulds were skipped in around 2000 or so, so one new production mould that will last a few hundred spins, and that will sell out costs next to nothing, but reproducing huge swathes of production moulds, half of which would hardly ever see any use is just a huge waste of resources.

As much as I'd love to see everything in production, there's just no real market for most of it, beyond a tiny subset of collectors, i.e us. I mean, hardly anyone used the old Bitz service back in the day, when you could buy squats, halflings and all the other obscure stuff that people go nuts over on eBay. It wasn't shut down because it was too popular, it was shut down because it didn't have the sales, and so wasn't cost effective to keep running.

There must be certain models that would be popular enough to warrant a limited run - complete 2nd ed BB teams would be snapped up. Jez Goodwin's Chaos Champions... maybe "lichemaster riding great spined dragon vs ass cannon mounted on chaos dwarf juggernaut". I'd buy one of those.

Just as long as they don't get it all wrong and re release the original Nagash!

I've got Puggy Baconbreath on my Halfling team... not sure about how much of a " star player" he actually is...
