Anyone seen a painted one of these? Skaven

Any one seen a painted image of either Warpscream, Venombreath or gashowler? they are all Jes Goodwin ones, in fact, the same dolly, Warpscream works as a Musican (with a mace), Venombreath replaces the head with a mask and the mace for a poisoned wind globe, and Gashowler replaces the mace with a sword:

It's just.. sigh.. been workin on painting the Venombreath version And i got a few more to paint up but just not getting the 'feel' for painting the model... like picking out details, working out the best colours for what material different bits might be.. kinda hard to fully explain but I'm just having a hell of a time trying to paint one up (and like I said, I got a few more to paint up of the same design) so I was wondering about any painted examples to help give some ideas.. went through alot of 'eavy metal pictures but can't seam to find a copy of the model painted up...

I totally agree. It's possibly the only Jes Skaven that I have actually disliked painting. Until reading your post I had always assumed it was some sort of drum kit. I only have Mace version and always thought it was a drumstick ! So going to have to go back and paint them as maces !. I find the whole model very busy and the actual musical instrument just has way to much going on and small details seem to get lost. I've basically painted it up as mainly metal with some tubes and then drumskin tops.

nice.
yeah it's a bit tricky for that drum kit. more so when you think about the Sword version (so how does he use it?) or the Poison wind version.

I'm guessing now that its some sort of ingenious skaven drum machine and is being played by the hand resting on the machine!

there's quite possibly another painted version on one of my work in progress threads, unless i painted my iteration up before 2017.

I painted it as a kid but sadly don't have it any more. I read that as a drumstick too. Is he not beating the skins on top of those tubes? Some kind of tuned drum/tubular bell affair?

probably, but again, gets confusing on the sword and poison wind versions, but that one is listed a mace, and the poison wind version just adds some tubes going into the 'drums', probably to hold the gas..
