Anybody know anything about this?

I'm currently taking part in the Old World Army Challenge and whilst trawling Ebay for additional figures I came across this Amazon crew by Grenadier, designed by Naismith, I've no knowledge of this item and was wondering if anybody here could tell me more?

It's an odd one. It doesn't appear in any catalogues, and most of the Amazon range was given 51xxx codes, 9203 is actually an old code for the 'Mountain Dwarf Command Group', also in the Fantasy Warriors product line.

Most probably it was put out right at the end of Grenadier's life when they were trying to clear remaining stock, and is part of an unreleased Amazon war machine or diorama set.
 
Did a dedicated Amazon catapult ever get released then? Or was the pack just designed to replace the crew and shield on another model?

No dedicated catapult just a universal one, which you added to to suit your army, quite reasonable really as the actual weapon is what is is, but the add-ons lets you make it your own. 8-)

Cheers, I might add some firepower to my Amazons then at some point if another crops up. I quite like that big face shield!

Got to say it's what caught my eye, brought for no other reason 8-) , I just have to find the appropriate artillery piece, time will tell.
