Well, my day didn't get off to the start I expected (waiting for a BT engineer) I eventually got to Newbury about mid afternoon and as I was entering the venue I met the lads from Ilford Wargames club, so, had a chat with them, I paid for my badge, looked up and there was the Foundry stand to my right, so, I paid my respects there; ten paces from the door and who's that approaching from my right - none other, than our every own Gaj - another chat. For a quiet afternoon thinking I wasn't going to see anybody, this was quite a surprise
and yes Fimm, I said hello to Kieven too and he said he'd get your casting done as soon as he could, but he's been a tad busy on the run up to Colours and apologizes profusely .
Anyway, for the short time I was there - a great success seeing too many people to list here, I acquired a whole load of new figures & stuff, spending a lot more than I intended, but hey, it's only money - I now have a copy Dragon Rampant to peruse at my leisure, a few more movement bases; a few specialist pieces for my Barbarians (watch my Work in Progress BOYL2017 if, you want to know what I bought
) and another show badge for my bag.
On the whole, a good time had by all, would recommend you go, next year, if, you get the chance
.
