Advice on painting Reaper's Purple Worm

Right I need some advice on painting this Giant Worm from Reaper:

Now it's going be used in my Fimir army which uses lots of browns and swampy bases, so what colour shall I go for? I was thinking Brown like my Fimir or a Bone/rotting flesh style, Any ideas?

Though the purple is surprisingly good looking, I'd probably go for a pale white/bone color with bluish washes to make it look surreal and strange. (keeping greenish and yellow bubons)

If you paint a purple worm anything but purple is it still a purple worm?

Albino sounds like a good choice, something pale and dead-looking.

For the first one (I have 2) I'm going go with a Charred Brown base worked up to Rotten Flesh then with Purple/Black/Brown washes,then re-highlighted up too Ceremite White.

Just applied all the washes so hopefully it'll work.

I'd go for pink-ish:

This was painted fleshy colors first and then glazed with reds. We got natural and nasty pink.
