A very Nurgle Team

I've always wanted to play in a RoC Campaign and gather a Nurgle warband. Never going to happen. SO I did the next best thing: gather a Nurgle Blood Bowl team. With all the different Star Players, over time this might resemble a traditional warband.
Let's get this show on the road.

First, the linemen:

Next, the Pestigors:

This was the first version of the Nurgle Beast:

but it had no tentacles, so now it's a Troll Starplayer and this is the new beast:

Some more Starplayers (I still need to finish some more of those):

Sideline Staff, to use as Turn, Reroll and Score markers (and a wizard too, just because):

And last but not least, the mighty mighty Nurgle Warriors:

Ooh yes, I did. Cut up those lovely Jes Goodwin Champions that everyone loves so much. Butchered them. Limbs flying everywhere. So, the question is: was it worth it or did I just ruin some irreplacable minis?

Nice team, very Nurglesque !

And regarding the conversion work you did, I don't see any problems butchering miniatures to make some more. Usually, I just try to keep one of the original not modified.

Personally I don't like chopping up my own old lead - but that's because I'm not very good at it having not done many conversions and am terrified of making an irreparable mess.

These, however, are brilliant! Its been quite fun trying to identify the various parts - good use of an old plastic Space Ork arm with the Beastman with chainsaw. Fly guy looks cool although I don't know where his new limbs are from. Is that the head from one of the palanquin riders on one of your warriors?

Great fun and Pappa Nurgle would be proud of his children.

Thanks!

As to the conversions, well spotted on the plastic arm - even though it's from a Heroquest Goblin, not an Ork.
The Lineman are just various ghouls, two from the old Citadel AD&D range, two Night Horrors and a NH "Slime". Only modification is some BB gear sculpted on.
The Beastmen are the upper halves of old Plaguebearers pinned onto beastman legs, again with BB gear sculpted on. No. 8 also got a new arm, as the original Plaguebearer is holding a greatsword pressed to its chest, which makes a very undynamic pose. Cutting of the arm and making a new one out of greenstuff helps with that.
The warriors are made out of old Nurgle Champions (http://www.solegends.com/citcat912/c202 ... rgle-h.htm) and a Slaanesh champ (#4, who just had his flail and Klan hood removed and now sports a sculpted head). #3 has most of its robe cut away, replaced wih the leg of a harpy and a greenstuff hand.
#1 & #2 were a bit tricky - the originals are missing their left legs, limping forward on elongated arms which reach to the ground.
Hence, the first thing to do was to remove both arms from both minis; #1 also had the right leg cut off, which is now the left leg of #2. #1 got two shiny new legs from a minotaur, the arms of #2 are from a harpy, #1 has new arms made out of greenstuff.
The Minotaur is an old Marauder Ogre, with a bull's face sculpted on and two old Nurglings stuck to its belly. The legs are from a plastic beastman.
