A fistful of ogres

I just finished this mix of ogre goodness last week. What fun they were to paint! The Golgfag ones are slightly messy sculpts but they really look good and the Olley ogre is just plain greatness.

Very nice, some of the best paintjobs I've seen on golfags (I'm not generally a fan of the sculpts). The olley ogre on the other hand is both a wonderful sculpt and beautifully painted, I particularly like the skin tones. Is the olley ogre a conversion of an ogryn? I think I always associate his ogres with 40k for some reason.

No, the ogre is no conversion. Well, in fact he is - sort of. At some point he had a huge hammer but it was lost when I bought the mini in a large job lot.

They look great! The Olley ogre is indeed listed as an Ogryn on the catalogue , though no guns carried , but the costume....
