3rd edition tomb kings

Just wondering, has anyone ever tried making a 3rd edition tomb kings army?

Been thinking a bit how to make it work, the mummies are obviously not fit for being army leaders.
So I was wondering if perhaps I could just use a Liche lord to represent those old priest kings. It's a challenge I suppose.
Any thoughts?
