3rd edition rules for Throne of Power and Anvil of Doom

Hi all,

I've recently painted some (4th and 5th edition) Dwarf Kings and Rune Masters (i.e. High King Thorgrim, King Alrik Ranulfson and an Anvil of Doom) that were for a loooong time in my leadpile. I only play 3rd edition and find it's a shame to keep these guys on the bench. So I would like your advise on rules for them in the 3rd edition.

High King Thorgrim Grudegbearer and his Throne of Power

I only need advise to manage the Throne of Power itself and its bearers (magical items carried by Thorgrim can be chosen from the Armies). I was thinking to use the War Altar rules to represent the Throne in battle. So the cost of it would be 50 points (excluding the bearers). Then, the bearers would be Hammerers (+4 Shock Elite). The psychological rules suit me fine.

Now I struggle to find decent and fair rules for combat, for shooting (to manage shooting against the crew, Thorgrim and the Throne itself. Does the Throne count as soft or hard cover ?) and movement (allow reserve of movement ? what about difficult ground ? what about bearers' loss ?)

Anvil of Doom

The guy on top of the anvil could be either a wizard or a hero in my opinion. I was thinking of a rule similar to the Icon of Divine Wrath (and same cost): once per magic phase, the wizard/hero can hit the anvil to hurl a lighting bolt.

The guards would be Hammerers.

But what about combat, the Anvil as target (from shooting) and movement ?

King Alrik Ranulfson

Appart the fact that the bearers could be Hammerers and the shield any shield from the 3rd edition Armies, I have no idea how to manage movement, bearers loss, shooting and combat.

Thank you so much in advance for your good advises.
