2025 - Everything that got painted!

Thought I would get a group shot of everything I managed to get fully painted in 2025!

132 133 models painted!! Was surprised at how much I actually did, various events and painting challenges helped motivation whilst whittling away at other little projects. Most models I have ever painted! :lol:

Not counting all the models that I have based and primed ready for painting, which is almost all of my dwarf army! That will keep me busy in 2026.

Resolutions for 2026 are:
- To keep working on the dwarf army
- Finish off my Fae warband (for Salute 2026 where am running a table!)
- A Necromunda gang for Lead & Steel 2026
- A small 40k(?) army for BOYL
- Keep a log of my purchases and painting, despite my progress this year I definitely obtained more models than painted, so aim to keep that in check a little…

How did everyone else do last year? Do you have any resolutions?

*as mentioned below, forgot to include the 2 card buildings I put together!

Same, I've gone from one Bretonnian army up to four, possibly five (King Bruno's army, my Knightly Order of Undead killers, an old Citadel/Foundry force, a renegade faction, and Im flirting with the idea of Bretonnian Halflings) and an unplanned Undead army that's kinda appeared over the past 6 months.

Resolution is to paint more and buy less.

That is quite an impressive amount!!



I had to go through forum posts and stuff to work out what I did in 2025, but here it is:

10 skeleton archers
15 skeleton swordsmen
15 skeleton halberdiers
20 zombies
3 ghouls
1 Krell
1 The Lichemaster

5 Fleglers
10 Armbrustschutzen
15 Helblitzen
1 Count
1 Elementalist


99 dudes and 3 terrain pieces.


Resolutions/plans for me are to try and get as much of the village as possible done and then maybe start 1 of 2 special projects...

This threat is a really good idea. When asked about what I painted in 2025, I would start telling what I wanted to paint, and didn't manage to.


But when I decided to contribute to this threat, and checked what I need to pull out to take a photo of, quite a lot piled up... So I think I will do this recap every year now, it turned out to be quite the motivation boost to see what I completed within the last year.

Our kitchen table nearly was too small for everything.




 
I think my 2025 tally comes to eleven spacecraft and a fantasy harper, which, to be fair, is my best tally in years, at least by sheer numbers. I'm aiming to do better in 2026. I say that every year, lately, but I'm aiming to do better.
