Loyalist Space Marines

maybe he is just disgraced cause he isn't good enough to be in the deathwing. Like a member of the Wolf Guard who isn't seen as good enough in battle to have earned terminator Honours yet (damn.. can't remember the icon to put on power armour for any one who has earnt the right for Terminator armour, yet isn't wearing it.. with Space Wolves, they don't have as much of a formal system, so while something like 'bones' on the icon mean wounds you have received in battle, the icon itself and the type of bone can vary.. All that matters is that their pack brothers know what it means)

Really need to get around to buying some more of the paint I need to make up my spray paint to work on Some space marines.. smaller packs are much easier then large regiments at times and with the power armour, it's a block of same colour, so quicker to paint)

I saw this on Facebook the other day oddly enough. Might have been Dave Paints? I thought I made a copy but obviously didn't, but did take this in case it's of interest. Although why I took this is also confusing as I have no (very few) marines as I'm Orks all the way

You're on the turn! You'll be wearing shoulder pads, a beaky helmet and calling everyone 'brother' soon.

anyone remember when to a space marine, the armour was kinda a holy relic so they would make sure it's nice and clean and in good condition for combat? I know Space Wolves do this more so, which is why they are more allowed to mix armour types as once you have your armour, you have it for life but it seams very much not a thing these days with tons of 'battle damage' and stuff.. In my mind, Marines would hate to go into battle with such an abomination as chipped paint or dents, or worse, a crack in such armour. Tis would be a sign of weakness!

Another Dark Angel marine joins the squad
